Angkor Airway and PMT Airline in Cambodia have suspended their domestic flight routes.
Recently, Angkor Airway has postponed her flight route as bellows:
1. Flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap and return.
2. Flight from Siem Reap to Saigon and return.
3. Flight from Siem Reap to Hanoi and return.
From the above flight route ( Phnom Penh – Siem Reap ), Angkor Airway has flied for about 6 months but failed to get enough passengers for every flight. Although, Angkor Airway has used the new Boeing 747 plane.
The remain routes are still under consideration by the management committee, even if Angkor Airway has already obtained the license from the government.
To compete, after ART air crash from the flight ( Siem Reap – Sihanoukville), PMT air was stopped flying this route, and anther route (Phnom Penh to Rattanakiri). But, PMT air still keeps flying from Saigon to Siem Reap, and Hanoi to Siem Reap.
